Only two Weeks later we were back on the way to a festival, this time to m Pepsi Music Festival, again at the Club de Ciudad. An Argentine colleague was this time too. This multi-day festival, we decided on the first day, top act: The Prodigy! Anyone who knows me knows that I've been a good 15 years a fan of this combo. And now for the first time live - I had to see this! What goes on at a festival, I now knew already. So back into the city by taxi, and colleagues found from the battle! This time we came late from work and just in time for the headline act. We have positioned ourselves about 10 yards from the Prodigy-stage - the anticipation was great! Then they came on stage, the music began to slow and then ......... exploded the world around us! We stood in the middle of a giant bouncing and pushing crowd, no influence on the direction or speed! I was really scared ... at the Pet Shop Boys but everything was Sun from civilized? Yes, okay, here are The Prodigy ... different league. But with something like I just did not expect. Here's a small sample video to better understand: click ! With a bit of Pani k we pushed our way slowly back through the crowd to gain a little safety margin to the stage. Unbelievable. And then happened one of the most remarkable and unreal situations that I have ever experienced, I realized I suddenly had no more cell phone in my front pocket. I looked to my colleague and exclaimed: "My phone is gone ". He looks at me strangely, probably had not properly understood and called " My phone is gone! . I say again: " No, my phone is off ". He: "J a, also MINE!". If it were not so sad, it would have been very funny. The sad thing: He had even borrowed my mobile phone. So I had that night so in 2 minutes 2 phones less. So go on your way. The rest of the evening was spent jumping in the crowd, hands clutching tightly around keys and wallet. I do not know whether the phones were screened out during hopping, or whether someone has accessed. I afterwards heard that at festivals always a lot of phones are stolen. Ok, now I know. But not such a friendly city. Ultimately, it was nevertheless a great night, we had a lot of fun and we learned a lot, then have a few cocktails in a bar in Las Canitas and were late (or early) in bed. Now I have a cell phone, even two: one for the office and for a cheap festival. As long as one learns from his mistakes, all is well. My hearing has since returned, and The Prodigy I hear had preferred from the CD. I think I'm too old for something ...

When I moved into my local home, I got the same e in p aar A rgentinier familiar with German roots in my neighborhood, which immediately r ührend cared about me, me all told me and of course immediately invited to a asado, the Argentine between Antwo rt on German barbecue, only that it takes place here every season and sometimes a small group of family ... That the grill (the "Parilla") is at least 5 times as large as at home I need not mention comfortable.
The parents of my neighbor have a country estate 300 miles south of Buenos Aires, where I hindurfte then twice with a colleague with. get out early from the city was an experience, because for n un good 5 months I had seen no land. There really was something behind the houses! Namely, as far as the eye: Nothing! Beautiful Nothing. Wide, flat land with meadows, a few trees here and there and a few cows. The weather was beautiful, beautiful nature. The small property with pastures has around 1 8 00 hectares, or 1,800 x 10,000 square meters, or 1,800 x 4 M Orgen, or 1,800 football fields, if that helps more.
stand on this area then a few thousand cattle around freely, so about 3,000. The real number nobody knows exactly who sometimes die, some are born. There are four salaried original "gauchos" that make the whole day is not much other than to ride the whole country and to look after the animals here and there to repair a fence and try to the inventory to keep up to date as possible. If an animal dies once, is not that bad. There is still some time and is gone. Thus, the runs here and why not.
There are also many eucalyptus trees in the country, unfortunately without co Alabama, and a lot Molitas, the Argentinian armadillos. Unfortunately I have not seen alive, but firmly made up my mind n, to find one and catch, only for a few photos. They're just too cute! April opos, recently I had in my street my first encounter with an opossum. Even so cute! Well, and the spiders I've already had plenty indeed published as photo opportunities. One of them caught and I saved before the exterminator. She now lives in a large glass with me and gets every day insects. Anyone who knows me knows that my spiders in Germany, more names were Klaus (Klaus Klaus I to III). Here I m I decided to Juan. Much to my current cohabiting joylessness colleague who has the beauty and grace of these magnificent animals is not much left. You are looking rather peaceful coexistence.
Nachde m, we were so far down over the land and an hour in the hanging atte after a delicious Asado spent, was it ever dark and I first saw the stars in the southern hemisphere. Of course there are ü above the city sky in principle, but not containing n at night because of the haze that of Buenos Aires (to German: good air!) Reveals, is almost no star. And it was with every minute more and more stars, beautiful! A great and exciting day!
Three weeks later we have another trip to the country, this time made in the northwest of BA, where we then traveled even half St un d e on horseback have. The small, sleepy town of San Antonio de Areco is advertised in almost every guidebook as a tourist destination. On Ortseingan g to set the clock back 50 years to wind chill. I think the right word for this is picturesque, or rather "picturesque" (Yes, now you write really so.). It is really cute, ideal for a day trip . You can ride, eat and do other things. However, I would like to hang Über'm fence not dead, at least not for long. Everyone how he likes it.
New experiences in the Argentine road:
The other day I was honked off the bus maliciously behind me, because I had the audacity to stop at a red light.
:-D

How Long Until I See Effects Of Zumba
But there is ever again a few insights into Argentine life, including a trip to the country after Antonio de Areco, a sleepy cute small town about 100km west of BA, a few pictures of the Nokia Music Festival last Friday and a few pets.

Shirt And Pants Crease
It is the air recirculation button, because it happens that one of said cars driving very old times before you. And because there seems no TÜV or pollutant classes (laughing), there may happen before, that which lies in front of a road for a brief moment, no longer does because of the black cloud, which winds its way there in front of one from the exhaust, or because of the short-term carbon monoxide Beneblung obtained by making inevitable at the moment. Thus, the air recirculation button to handle a natural survival reflex of the driver, in which he, a Kobra not unlike a flash vorstößt the life-saving and air button away.
These emissions are not the only one of the old, with self adhesive tape lovingly patched up sled. Tommy Jaud described it in his book " remaining vacation " that everyone who may want to introduce, grinning a little more in Buenos Aires, is warmly recommended, with the concept of "exploding sound bombs" that one in traffic being thrown against. Better it would have even Kafka could not express (in this context is to me, I still have a textbook with Leihdatum of '92 Return urgently to the library ...).
The talk of emissions brings me to an important issue: Argentina and the environment. Admittedly, a controversial topic, I put myself on thin ice and should probably now fear revenge Christina
... A few weeks in this country and I seriously wonder why I'm in Germany ever separate my garbage. Bottle deposit? What is that? Why do we waste in Germany a large part of our life with the collection and separation of bottles, the strings of different garbage bags and the washing out of yogurt cups, if some other much larger countries on Earth so the rectum passes? I say it now, loud and clear: Because someone has to do! This is our gift to posterity, and thus distinguish it from those who do not worry about those. The eternal question "Why me, but if the other ..." must belong to the past once and for all. I, for my part, a pretty lousy conscience, all my household waste in a bag of stuff out and throw in the bin, but I'm not here around. And so I try for me to set itself a character and I bring back my cart in the designated parking position and not in the middle want to leave the parking lot, and keeping my rubbish in public Trash and not on the street and throw as I close my windows when the heating is running. And then I can sleep reasonably quiet. Just think about it.
man, that was now almost a bit of Kafka-esque ...
Here I have found an interesting report on the web: click !

Fiat 411 Service Manual
After a further 14 hours overnight flight and nagging support of Lufthansa flight attendants I'm finally back home and look forward to things that have become something special, "Real bread, rolls on the weekend and good, German toilet paper (do not even ask rather only as much about this: Chill 0.5-ply). We learn again to appreciate things that are actually commonplace. An interesting experience.
Another interesting experience I have been boycotted, the drinking of tomato juice on airplanes. I do not like tomato juice and had neither the occasion seen not to make something even to fathom that mystery why tomato juice tastes in aircraft apparently much better than usual I recently read a study that said that consumption of tomato juice to about 4% in aircraft takes place, whereas as orange juice is administered less than 1% in the plane. What questions arise from this?
- Do the airlines to cover these massive needs own plantations or tomato juice under contracts with manufacturers around World?
- Who has the time and interest to conduct such studies or to read?
- Now what are the real reasons behind the consumption of crushed tomatoes with salt and pepper in the tight economy seats on the plane, where one well can be happy and keep your ears with your knees?
As far as I remember there were several reasons, including that a flight is something special, where you sometimes drink something that you would not normally buy (because it is so disgusting), or the pure envy the people who really want to drink, a drink the other. What was the trigger for me now, I do not remember exactly, but probably Reason # 3: curiosity. Is there any truth to this mystery? Particularly since more and if and when the red juice is served, experience severe turbulence and it is hoped secretly that the plate taxis now hopefully tilt equal to all the juice on the white shirts so the aircraft will look like as if you were a guest at a vampire film shooting . After two Frenchmen in the seats next to me now had their orders, "Orange Juice", the lady looked at me with a look that seemed to were called: "Do you drink as well?" I just said "tomato". The absence of subject and predicate made clear they are reluctant, her immense forehead wrinkled into a fresh harvested beet fields, she straightened the upper Council study glasses and then asked: "tomato juice" had seen through me cold. I nodded and added the obligatory loud but grammatically disastrous Döner ordering phrase "with everything" (The "no onions" but I've saved). I tried the pepper unterzurühren what was only with difficulty, and tried. I's nice find! I will order it for the next flight! But buy at home? Iiiiiiihhhh .... Nope, still let ma ( Did the link found )
Finally, a few interesting things to think about:
- Recently I evenings after work on the Ruta Panamericana in the left lane in the dark center come to meet a cyclist. Without light. I know you have to read this sentence ... 2x without words.
- Why is the left turn lane at traffic lights often to the right of the straight tracks?

Low Floral Arrangements For Baby Shower
Hola a todos!
It's Time for a new report from the wintry Buenos Aires, so that the individual entries do not be too long.
right Yes, well winter is palpable. July was the coldest month in Argentina, but it is also only two months in uncomfortably cold. In the morning we have 0 ° C, the As sen in the suburbs of the soccer fields glisten through the frost, which has spread in the following night. How lyrical! The Argentine dies currently freezing to death. Here, the days are actually still very beautiful sunny afternoon and are sometimes 18 ° C inside. Many cough and sniffle, and has, for once then do not always use the so-called swine flu. This specter haunted the last few weeks here every day through all media, many thousands of infected people, lots of deaths in all age groups, closed schools, etc. Now it is to this news as with all the news: After a few weeks there are no news and almost repressed or forgotten successfully. The Argentine kiss again, there's no tomorrow (on arrival). Much worse, there is the news that the Argentine first Football League may not be as planned on 16 August starts, if not all clubs to 11 their debts have been paid. So a football disaster hits the Argentine natural right to the heart! We'll see how it goes on. One of the heavily indebted club resides, at least since a few weeks (!) With me here in the same hotel ... You could not really even afford a hostel. So they are ... Keeping Up Appearances. And the main thing the hairs are ... Can we change nothing against ...
Another important, many times is the theme raised meat. A few local colleagues have told me to try one or the other Argentinean specialties from the grill. For example Mellojas (pronounced "Meschochas"). That was some piece from near the heart ... well, one wants to be a girl. So the next Steak night times have been brave and ordered Mellojas. Saw something strange ... not really like meat. Do not show fear, meat smells something ... The consistency is very chaotic, almost glibber-esque. The taste is ok! Interesting! Ok, down with it. Enough wine for rinsing is for.
The next day I did then maybe been on the Internet, what I have actually eaten. The solution: thymus. Has anyone ever eaten glands? Who wants to know more precisely where and why they are during the day can times look here or there . But then you will not try it more likely. Nonetheless, Mellojas one of the few types of meat with a high content of vitamin C. I was nevertheless clear that I would not order it again.
One fine day, packed my colleagues and me, the game's content. We went to d en jumbo market and have an Argentine version of the good ol 'risk' geka runs ! S o we sat the livelong day with a colleague in the hotel room and played Imagine the following situation briefly: 3 adult men in comfortable clothes on the table several glasses of wine, plus a world map on which small soldiers, tanks and aircraft are. The view of the lady from the room service was gold worth! Back down has probably so they said something like, "Oh no! The Germans are planning going on! ". At the 3rd Time was then already a male colleague because the lady was probably afraid. We had to pay anyway. I then occupied Latin America.
A few nights later I was the first guest in a restaurant chain, which also deals with the grilling of animals: "Siga la vaca" In German: the effect of cow ! Such a grill, in Argentina Parilla (pronounced par damage) called, I have never seen before. Here are several cows per night go over it ... you could see that immediately. The principle is simple and practical: The meat is easy on the Parilla, it goes, shows on it or something and then called on the plate. No ordering, no waiting. given an excellent salad bar for the side dishes. a quasi meat fast food restaurant. Perched on the building two chimneys, defy description. A sugar factory would be proud. And the guys who stand at the grill, then you can only dimly imagine. Long story short: Once again it was delicious! And unsaturated and the many meat and not because you eat so no greasy side dishes like french fries or fried potatoes, no cream sauce. Here I come again. "Follow the Cow" is an imperative, after all, where you have to bend easily. And sooo much choice ... I have eaten Mellojas.
