Koleston Color Perfect Chart

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and anger 35 ° C

Yes, again it is much too long since I've moved out here mentally. Again much has happened, so I would give some zumind est briefly again. And there's already buried the rabbit in the pepper! I am now 30, since one needs have some help on this and / or that might remind en. So I write this now live and in color, while I look at my photos of the last few weeks look ... what was there but all the same ........ oh yes!

11/28/2009 Pinamar
One of the most spectacular and action-packed experiences of my stay in Argentina is actually chronologically before the last item of 5 December 2009 and played end of November in a popular holiday resort located in the Argentinean round south 300 km from Buenos Aires on the Atlantic coast Pinamar . End of November it was already strong warm, the Atlantic, however, was anything but welcoming. Luckily, you can do there something else great before especially out of season, in which g ut en old Germany would be unthinkable! (Here I will briefly a moment to think about your Fanta allow them a few fun moments that are even more rare ...)
The hotel was more to be desired, but offered with a pool table in the lobby and a bar counter enough opportunities for our team of 8 German and 2 children to get to do after the Odyssey a bit of wine, women and song amicably. We order a round of tequila unaware. Now, the bartender had probably his first day in the industry, and we were amazed when we got pushed to 3 / 4 filled juice glasses on the counter. What a mission! But we were not here for fun and fought the Ge söff down brave. I will drink übrigends ni e tequila again. A colleague the Temptation hte after all his and another half a glass left over to explain his brave beginners in English to the pouring, but spirits that tend sold in jars cl to 2. have sounded from the other side has about it this way: "Bla bla , si bla ... * hicks * dos centrolitros ... blah?". And the bartender chose the tactic, which I also still successful practitioner, if I'm using the words in my head did not come after: always nod and smile. Running!

The next morning had one or two after getting the feeling of having brushed with a hammer. Once the hair root pain subsided, we went together with two pickups to the beach, where 8 fully fueled 125 cc Quad s waiting for us. We had not otherwise the whole day fun and the beach vent , hunted through the dunes and through the woods. Now briefly turn to the Germany.
"In principle, approved quads only drive on public roads s Driving through the forest prior to requires a driving mood the great outdoors with motorized vehicles. is illegal ( § 56 FNCA, Article 21, paragraph 2, Article 23 BayNatSchG ). " You are erm D !
lunch we made a asado in the forest, where a few pavilion tents were set up and we could catch a bit. I want to tell more to not even speak the images (bottom) for himself, I think. In any case, this will not be the last time was that I had rented a quad .. .!

is also still more to happen ... Oh yes, home leave

17:12 -!. 23.12.2009, from Hannover
The Week the holidays I spent with my loved ones, speak with family and friends in and around Hanover. The brevity of the time it was not possible to take all that I would have liked to see again, but a great excuse. There will come a time when we meet again!
Who now to have the time or Back to return remember ck, where a fall that left Germany before all freeze at this time a Super Winter: -20 ° C in many parts of the Republic, in Hannover! Short swing back to the day of my departure to Germany: Buenos Aires, 30 ° C! That makes a Temperature shock of 50 ° C deafening - but what can I say: I found it great! As I got off the plane in Frankfurt, through me the first time again real, dry ice cold after months of semi-moist heat, and I really enjoyed it. For this one week, the weather was just right for me but ic h regret all at home, the cold again now miss the strong and a nice hot bath, because the bathroom window does not open eismäßig.
In this one week I've almost done everything that I had been looking forward, not to mention lukewarm, related ässerter overpriced and mulled wine at the Christmas Market Hanover as well as ice-cold night Schneegestöberwaldspaziergänge without noise. Germany, a winter wonderland! The ideal weather for Christmas, so we have preferred the big family gathering for a few days before Christmas Eve. I miss you all again and look forward to my next furlough!

23.12.2009, back in Buenos Aires
As I said before, I was a week at home with my loved ones, at 23.12. I then got my love with Buenos Aires taken. Mei a woman has set the first foot on Argentine soil (and they would the selfsame after the bumpy flight tested also like to taste). Na ch a certain period of acclimatization, we then enjoyed Christmas in the summer - and it has not ever felt after Christmas n. At Christmas nunmal include cold and darkness as well as ngsluft Heizu and candlelight. To burn vigorously on the table in the garden, in my opinion has nothing to do with Christmas. At New Year I am, however, flexible. ;-)
way: I've finally fulfilled a dream and given me for Christmas a digital SLR, as you hopefully at the quality of some photos will notice.

Dakar exhibition
Am 29.12. We have visited the exhibition of the Dakar rally cars in the Plaza Italia and came out to enjoy, to see time right off-road vehicle! The Highlig ht of the day, but the sample (with) drive in the new VW Amarok on a special test track at the exhibition site, with 45-degree slopes and curves, a rocker and lots of toys more in such a Auto increased blood pressure. Anyone interested can look here as s video of the ride, the link to the new photos at the bottom. Fact is: I want one! 3 days later on New Year's Day started in the Dakar Rally, which for the 2 Time in Argentina and Chile were held, and VW reached a 3-way victory with his race Touaregs!

bus tour Reloaded
One day later, has not yet occurred a great story: For the purposes of a marathon day, we have a city tour with made tourist bus , so that my wife gets an idea of where you will be transported soon. Now we were relatively late in the ticket office and have r at 13:00 U h only tickets for the bus tour to 15:30 get. Shortly afterwards, the cards for this very sunny day were sold out. A large number of bus runs every half hour through the streets of the capital and shows and explains the most important places of Buenos Aires. You can get off at each of the 13 stations and just ride the next bus back. Whoever has thought along exactly recognize a dilemma ... It can happen that you get off, for example, in La Boca, to be the beautiful colorful neighborhood to look at. Since the tours were sold out, it can happen, however, that if you want to go back again, no place gets more in the next bus. This situation worsened dramatically, as it recently Our tour started raining hard. The result was that the operators have only allowed people in the lower floor of the Double Deckers, because some buses were virtually "topless" convertible models. That is, half of the paying guests stopped at the door and Schimp forces, and DAS, the Argentines! Who still thinks hard, now recognizes the real problem!
The slopes in front of us were up to the last place full, are prohibited. People get off somewhere, and when we arrive in these places do it because of the rain, of course, new items. I take my hat off to the little dainty lady, the waiting crowd each time by a small Window had to explain that they must not enter this only half-full bus ... Some tourists th waited there for the 3rd Time on a bus that would take it again. I would not want to have inserted into the skin of the person who answered the day the customer's phone operator. Despite the rain, but it was a great driver rt, and then tore the sky even again, and we could take another walking tour, where we came straight to the world peace demo that on the day in Buenos Aires at the Plaza de Mayo ended.

Try something new this summer: New Year's Eve at 30 ° C!
New Year's Eve is getting a new character when you barbecue from noon to with friends in the garden, pool and enjoy the sun, b i s one at midnight at home in the winter before the door opens Böllert and strong. Here I miss the typical German New Year's traditions tend not to, for example, the cold sore thumb on the lighter to rub against Eisfüßen barely able to walk and eventually even to singe or roast the thick jacket. Those who sympathize with me?? :-)

Now I'm alone again, waiting eagerly for my second half, Mi Media Naranja, as they say here. But the few months I'll get even more rum! And I look forward to my first visit from Germany in April and my birthday celebration at home, it is certainly planned. So take your time because nothing before ... ;-)

festival culture in Buenos

came through a competition my roommate colleague and I a free ticket to the NOKIA staff (a mobile service provider in Germany wanted as Mobilcom) Fest 2009 in Buenos Aires and we not miss the chance to see some great music acts play live. We therefore fix after work at the Club Ciudad de Bueno Aires s, a large outdoor event center in the heart of the city. Quickly bought a second card for 50 pesos (about 10 EUR!) And pure pleasure! Main act of the evening was none other than incidentally, the Pet Shop Boys! Now I'm not a fanatical fan of PSB, but if it's practically free! Heading a hundred flyers are pressed into the hand that after the festival still here and there . Invite I know her after-show parties ... but here there was liquid yer who invited directly to the "after party" without show ... Whether this is related to the PSB? I think so ... Once So, on the site, said first be guided between the 5 stages of . My colleagues are thirsty for a refreshing beer. And we found that is at concerts in Buenos Aires no alcohol sold. E rnüchterung, in the truest sense of the word began to spread. Good, then hold only Cola and hamburgers. A great festival food by the way! General are Argentines very relaxed at the festival, no Gerempel, not a bad Gegucke. A friendly city! Finally k amen then the PSB to the stage and Neil Tennant's masculine voice blared in the world with all new and annoying classics. The weather played along, all nice. Thousands stood around the stage and almost no one moved. I thought it was indeed a bit boring, but in practice my God, it was in vain ... My colleague was standing next to me and grinned, satisfied the to himself. How to not move for 2 hours, can is beyond me.

Only two Weeks later we were back on the way to a festival, this time to m Pepsi Music Festival, again at the Club de Ciudad. An Argentine colleague was this time too. This multi-day festival, we decided on the first day, top act: The Prodigy! Anyone who knows me knows that I've been a good 15 years a fan of this combo. And now for the first time live - I had to see this! What goes on at a festival, I now knew already. So back into the city by taxi, and colleagues found from the battle! This time we came late from work and just in time for the headline act. We have positioned ourselves about 10 yards from the Prodigy-stage - the anticipation was great! Then they came on stage, the music began to slow and then ......... exploded the world around us! We stood in the middle of a giant bouncing and pushing crowd, no influence on the direction or speed! I was really scared ... at the Pet Shop Boys but everything was Sun from civilized? Yes, okay, here are The Prodigy ... different league. But with something like I just did not expect. Here's a small sample video to better understand: click ! With a bit of Pani k we pushed our way slowly back through the crowd to gain a little safety margin to the stage. Unbelievable. And then happened one of the most remarkable and unreal situations that I have ever experienced, I realized I suddenly had no more cell phone in my front pocket. I looked to my colleague and exclaimed: "My phone is gone ". He looks at me strangely, probably had not properly understood and called " My phone is gone! . I say again: " No, my phone is off ". He: "J a, also MINE!". If it were not so sad, it would have been very funny. The sad thing: He had even borrowed my mobile phone. So I had that night so in 2 minutes 2 phones less. So go on your way. The rest of the evening was spent jumping in the crowd, hands clutching tightly around keys and wallet. I do not know whether the phones were screened out during hopping, or whether someone has accessed. I afterwards heard that at festivals always a lot of phones are stolen. Ok, now I know. But not such a friendly city. Ultimately, it was nevertheless a great night, we had a lot of fun and we learned a lot, then have a few cocktails in a bar in Las Canitas and were late (or early) in bed. Now I have a cell phone, even two: one for the office and for a cheap festival. As long as one learns from his mistakes, all is well. My hearing has since returned, and The Prodigy I hear had preferred from the CD. I think I'm too old for something ...

Aires Argentina's "Outback", or: No sky above Buenos Aires

Much time has passed already since the last time I scrub here. Accordingly, much has happened. I start forward and try to keep myself short but flowery.
When I moved into my local home, I got the same e in p aar A rgentinier familiar with German roots in my neighborhood, which immediately r ührend cared about me, me all told me and of course immediately invited to a asado, the Argentine between Antwo rt on German barbecue, only that it takes place here every season and sometimes a small group of family ... That the grill (the "Parilla") is at least 5 times as large as at home I need not mention comfortable.
The parents of my neighbor have a country estate 300 miles south of Buenos Aires, where I hindurfte then twice with a colleague with. get out early from the city was an experience, because for n un good 5 months I had seen no land. There really was something behind the houses! Namely, as far as the eye: Nothing! Beautiful Nothing. Wide, flat land with meadows, a few trees here and there and a few cows. The weather was beautiful, beautiful nature. The small property with pastures has around 1 8 00 hectares, or 1,800 x 10,000 square meters, or 1,800 x 4 M Orgen, or 1,800 football fields, if that helps more.
stand on this area then a few thousand cattle around freely, so about 3,000. The real number nobody knows exactly who sometimes die, some are born. There are four salaried original "gauchos" that make the whole day is not much other than to ride the whole country and to look after the animals here and there to repair a fence and try to the inventory to keep up to date as possible. If an animal dies once, is not that bad. There is still some time and is gone. Thus, the runs here and why not.
There are also many eucalyptus trees in the country, unfortunately without co Alabama, and a lot Molitas, the Argentinian armadillos. Unfortunately I have not seen alive, but firmly made up my mind n, to find one and catch, only for a few photos. They're just too cute! April opos, recently I had in my street my first encounter with an opossum. Even so cute! Well, and the spiders I've already had plenty indeed published as photo opportunities. One of them caught and I saved before the exterminator. She now lives in a large glass with me and gets every day insects. Anyone who knows me knows that my spiders in Germany, more names were Klaus (Klaus Klaus I to III). Here I m I decided to Juan. Much to my current cohabiting joylessness colleague who has the beauty and grace of these magnificent animals is not much left. You are looking rather peaceful coexistence.
Nachde m, we were so far down over the land and an hour in the hanging atte after a delicious Asado spent, was it ever dark and I first saw the stars in the southern hemisphere. Of course there are ü above the city sky in principle, but not containing n at night because of the haze that of Buenos Aires (to German: good air!) Reveals, is almost no star. And it was with every minute more and more stars, beautiful! A great and exciting day!

Three weeks later we have another trip to the country, this time made in the northwest of BA, where we then traveled even half St un d e on horseback have. The small, sleepy town of San Antonio de Areco is advertised in almost every guidebook as a tourist destination. On Ortseingan g to set the clock back 50 years to wind chill. I think the right word for this is picturesque, or rather "picturesque" (Yes, now you write really so.). It is really cute, ideal for a day trip . You can ride, eat and do other things. However, I would like to hang Über'm fence not dead, at least not for long. Everyone how he likes it.

New experiences in the Argentine road:
The other day I was honked off the bus maliciously behind me, because I had the audacity to stop at a red light.
:-D

Abrazos,
Olli
